The Psalms are some of my favorite scriptures in the Bible. They’re filled with such hope and truth about God being our rescuer. When I’m feeling in need of uplifting and bringing my heart back to hope, I turn to the Psalms. Aside from the life of Jesus, it’s my favorite book of the Bible.
I’ve been in my own health battle for 11 years and in that time, hope has sometimes been hard to find. I know when I start losing hope for healing, it’s because I’ve stepped away from the Word for too long. I can’t express enough how important it is to remain in the Word, even if your life is seemingly perfect, but especially when you’re fighting a battle of any kind.
Here are some of my favorite Psalms to keep your hope alive and bring you closer to God, your rescuer, the lover of your soul, your heavenly Father.
