Uncle Alan was in town last week. We had dinner and birthday celebrations Monday. Wednesday we met at my in-laws and all piled into my van and drove to a local seafood joint for dinner. It was a delicious meal. The place was really loud with the music and everyone talking and the kids weren’t the best behaved, but it was a family meal and it was a memory and it was sweet to be together. Thursday Adam and his brothers and dad went to play golf. We then met them after school for dinner and cards and another great evening together. Saturday they all came to our house in the morning. We looked through Alan’s pictures from the week and talked before they went out to a wine tour before Alan traveled back to Missouri. It was a great week of family togetherness.
