It was cool. We put on jackets and long pants and remarked how it felt like Missouri weather as we walked to school.
What a sweet papa he is. My boys are lucky to have him in their lives. He adores them. He loves them deeply. He is so good to them. He loves spending time with them. He is a wonderful Grandpa and Father and Father-in-Law. We love him so very much.

We hadn't done a car selfie in a long time. Probably hasn't been since last school year when I was driving to get the kids instead of walking them. I miss our car time together. Instead of a 20 minute walk together with small talk, we had 45 minutes in the car waiting for N to get out of school and
N was with his grandparents so daddy and I decided to take Z and D on a barefoot walk together around the block. It was sweet and fun and a memory made but I really missed N being with us. It just wasn't the same without him with us. Amazing how important each family member is to a family.
One of my most favorite parts of Texas is the warm weather most of the year, perfect for barefoot walks in the evening with my children. I'll never tire of walking with them, looking for bugs, toads, and whatever comes across our path that is deemed interesting. My word am I ever a blessed
