We started the day picking up my parents and heading down to the Kansas City zoo. It was hot but we still had a good time looking at the animals, taking lots of pictures of my cheese ball, Zane, and getting gifts at the gift shop. We then came back to the hotel, ate Minsky’s pizza, relaxed, then swam, showers, and back to my parents for dinner – where the kids ended up spending the night. Adam and I enjoyed the peace and quiet – spending time in the hot tub and watching TV.
