After sleeping in, Adam and I went to get the kids from my moms. We then drove to Platte City, where we used to live. It’s the same, except for a new Culvers and some road work going on. We drove by the old house. The kids said they remembered it. We stopped by the CVS, the lady behind the counter was the same that worked there when we lived in Platte City. We then went to Weston State Bend, which holds a lot of memories from my childhood all the way up to my children’s childhood’s. After that we drove down to 54th Street Bar and Grill, one of our favorite places here. As I type this, we are in the hotel letting food settle before going out to swim. We’ll do one last dinner with my parents before going to see my dad and his wife. This vacation is going fast!
